Studio City

Studio City is home to one of the of the most “happening” sections of the San Fernando Valley’s famous Ventura Boulevard – a stretch from Whitsett Avenue to Laurel Canyon Boulevard that’s studded with high end designer shops, acclaimed restaurants, trendy fitness studios, cozy cafes, and more. From the quiet streets in the secluded enclave of Longridge Estates to the grand vista estates off the world-renowned Mulholland Drive, Studio City has a spot for every dream home imaginable. The “silver triangle” neighborhood may be one of Studio City’s most recognizable areas – located just south of Ventura, from Laurel Terrace Drive to Laurel Canyon Boulevard, this quaint neighborhood offers lovely homes on mostly flat properties and an incredible walkable lifestyle – something rarely seen in Los Angeles! Just down the road, Tujunga Village borders the desirable Colfax Meadows neighborhood, and offers charming shops, restaurants, entertainment, and one of the Valley’s favorite local coffee shops, Aroma Coffee & Tea Co. On Whitsett Avenue just off Ventura Boulevard, Weddington Golf & Tennis offers a 9 Hole, Par 27 course and driving range, one of only two golf courses in the East Valley.

In addition to the amenities along Ventura Boulevard, Studio City is also known for its numerous hiking trails and nature walks. The tranquil lake and duck ponds of Franklin Canyon Park, the views from Wilacre Park’s Fryman Canyon trail, and the newly revitalized Riverwalk all offer a quick escape from the hustle and bustle without ever having to leave your neighborhood. The local events at Tree People and Beeman Park’s Recreation Center offer a community lifestyle rarely seen in today’s busy world.

Studio City’s educational options are known both far and wide – from the sought after local elementary schools of Carpenter Community Charter School and Colfax Charter Elementary School, to the nationally known independent college preparatory schools Harvard Westlake Upper School and Campbell Hall. These desirable schools make this area a favorite for growing families, while the close proximity to major commuter canyons and freeways make this an excellent option for anyone looking for their forever home in the sunny San Fernando Valley.
